Our interest in dog training came about from our volunteer work in animal rescue.
As core volunteers at the local humane society, it became clear that a
well-trained dog was a welcome member of the family and was much less likely
to be returned to the shelter.
Many animals were surrendered to the shelter and the city's Animal Control facility
because families couldn't deal with behavioral issues that could have been solved
by training.
Our classes provide not only the training necessary for the dog to become a welcome
member of the family, but the tools and information necessary for family members
to understand dog behavior and common problems.
We use positive training methods to build the bond between the dog and the family.
